Kevin Chen, BrightView's Asia Sales Manager, was invited to give a talk at the 2nd Automotive Head Up Display Summit Forum in Shanghai. He provided an overview of how BrightView fits into new and existing HUD designs in automotive applications to around 200 attendees. Engineers, product managers, and researchers from a variety of HUD manufacturers and suppliers including Tongji University, Continental, iView, and Texas Instruments were in attendance for the day long conference. They discussed new technology developments, the HUD business outlook and market trends. The main takeaway was HUD is poised to grow quickly in the automotive markets, and new, exciting developments are making HUD a more compelling capability dramatically improving the driving experience.
