Global Account Manager

BrightView Technologies is an emerging player in the high growth market for Engineered Optics used in advanced optical technologies within Advanced Computer Displays, 3D Sensing, and LiDAR through its portfolio of innovative products based on industry-leading Microstructure Lens Array technology. BrightView is seeking an experienced Global Account Manager to support existing and new strategic accounts in Northern California. This person will network in large complex accounts to secure new design wins, manage existing business and maximize revenue. The Global Account Manager will work closely with the BrightView cross functional teams of Product Management, Engineering and Operations to deliver exceptional customer support through complex and lengthy design cycles. This is a high-profile opportunity for the right person to manage existing business, spearhead new design wins and develop large, strategic accounts. This position requires strategic global account planning and customer relationship building.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Employ strategic solutions selling techniques in an OEM B2B business environment
  • Develop and maintain relationships throughout Tier 1 and Tier II customers by understanding product needs and providing BVT solutions that meet customer requirements (performance, price, delivery, quality) while maintaining commercial alignment with BVT’s business objectives
  • Develop, implement, and lead sales activities to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Includes sample requests, technical information, managing RFQ/RFI responses, NDA execution, and major supply agreement negotiations
  • Lead and present company, product, and technical updates at key customer sites to educate features and benefits to move forward BVT solutions that meet customer requirements to broaden the sales footprint within an account, particularly around new products and solutions
  • Champion activities including competitive and market intelligence, product positioning, value proposition development, pricing strategy and prioritization of both existing markets and new market opportunities., highlighting gaps in product portfolio with respect to customer and market demands
  • Meet or exceed annual quota and business objectives by developing the CRM pipeline for next generation design wins
  • Foster cross functional team relationships in managing internal/external programs through lengthy design cycles
  • Proactively prospect customers and new leads from trade shows, web site activity and social media
Education and/or Experience Requirements
  • BS Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience or equivalent
  • Customer-centric attitude
  • Proficiency at executive-level presenting and selling required
  • Background in large, complex account management is a must
  • Experience with Display Technology, 3D Sensing, lasers, optics, semiconductors, or thin film products preferred
  • Understanding of product-development process, with the ability to drive new product sample evaluation to an end design win result
