Senior Sales Manager - Lighting
BrightView Technologies seeks an experienced sales leader in advanced optics for the lighting marketplace. The Senior Sales Manager - Lighting will lead all activities associated with BrightView's sales initiatives in Lighting. These initiatives include direct sales activities with emphasis on developing and managing the appropriate third-party sales channels. These channels will include manufactures’ representatives and a distribution network.

Reports to: Global Commercial Director
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement all sales activities in order to achieve revenue and profitability targets in Lighting
- Develop and maintain relationships with Tier I and Tier II customers by understanding product needs and providing BVT solutions that meet customer requirements (performance, price, delivery, quality) while maintaining commercial alignment with BVT’s business objectives
- Partner with the BVT leadership team to develop product, marketing, and sales strategies to become the market leader in high precision optical microstructures
- Lead and implement market/channel/distribution strategies including the evaluation and potential use of representatives, distributors and resellers, channel partners
- Assist in the negotiation of major supply and joint development agreements
- Champion activities including competitive and market intelligence, product positioning, value proposition development, pricing strategy and prioritization of new market opportunities
- Participate in the development of new markets/applications for existing and new products
Experience
- 12+ years of experience in direct sales of technology driven products with preference for plastics and/or optics knowledge
- Sales experience throughout the Lighting markets
- Experience selling products based on advanced technologies
- Individual account management and executive level selling
- Experience generating revenue from newly commercialized products/technologies
- Development of a clearly articulated strategic sales plan
- Profitable growth of new markets and market share through differentiated value propositions
- Proven ability to grow sales and establish excellent customer relationships
- Prior experience with extensive travel
- Experience identifying, initiating, and managing international channel partners
Education/Certifications
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- Desired: Master’s degree in business or technical discipline
